ABOUT US 

"Hi, my names Ben and I run Optimum Driver Training based in Cranleigh Surrey.

 

Driving has always been a huge part of my life since I was first able to reach the pedals! All through my early life I could be found driving various trucks and pieces of machinery around farms and private land. At 17 I got my category B licence and at aged 18 I took my HGV tests to become a class 1 HGV driver. Alongside  HGV driving and HGV instructing, I worked and continue to work as a professional off road driver and really started to get some miles under my belt! I’ve been very lucky as both the 4x4 and HGV driving has given me the opportunity to drive some incredible roads across the world from Africa to the Rocky Mountains and everything in between. I decided to set up Optimum Driver Training to pass on the experience and knowledge I’ve gained over the years as I’m a firm believer that you should “learn to drive” and not just learn to pass a test."
